Making a Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse the online shop, click on any item that you wish to buy and check out via the secure online server.

All online transactions are administered by Paypal. We do not take your credit card details at any point. This provides a high level of security, keeping your details safe.

Shipping and Handling

All products are shipped via Royal Mail/ Parcel Force. The shipping rates are automatically calculated at the checkout stage. The cost will vary depending on the weight of the parcel.

Worldwide Delivery

At present Hetty Horner Soaps & Gifts only sell within the United Kingdom.

Delivery Schedule

I will endeavour to get your order to you as soon as I can. I aim to ship parcels within 2-5 working days but please allow up to 10 days for delivery during busier periods.

Returns, Exchanges and Cancellations

I make every effort to ensure that the products on offer are of the very best quality. You have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of goods at any time up to 7 working days after delivery. You may cancel your order by contacting me via email.

To qualify for a refund the goods must be returned to me in their original condition and fit for resale. You will be refunded the full value of the goods less the original delivery charges, no later then 30 days from the date of purchase. Once the product is opened you will lose your right to cancel the contract.

To exchange items please return purchases to Hetty Horner Soaps & Gifts at the address above within 7 days of receipt and I will dispatch replacement goods. A redelivery charge at the standard rate will apply. All return postage is the responsibility of the purchaser and Hetty Horner Soaps & Gifts does not accept responsibility for lost or damaged-in-transit items.

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Important Safety Information
For your safety and protection there are laws in place that ensure that everything you buy has been certified as safe for sale. These laws apply to every company that manufactures cosmetics regardless of their size.

At Hetty Horner Soaps & Gifts all of the cosmetic products available to buy have undergone this certification process.

Pregnancy
Care should be taken when using essential oils during pregnancy. Please seek professional advice.

Skin Allergies
If you are prone to skin allergies I suggest that you do a test patch before using the product. If you have any other medical conditions please consult your medical practitioner. Essential oils should not be used by children under the age of six.

Hetty Horner Soaps & Gifts reserve the right to change the appearance, packaging and scent, or withdraw any products at any time.

Storage
Products should be kept in their original packaging and stored away from direct sun light or extreme temperatures such as near a radiator, window or open door. Some products can fade, deteriorate or sweat if left in these extreme conditions.

As the products are handmade and hand cut, slight variations in colour, size or scent may occur between batches.

Candle Safety Guidelines

This is very important candle safety information:

Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Position the candle away from curtains fabric or furniture.
Do not burn directly on furniture or on top of a TV.
Keep candles away from drafts & flammable items.
Make sure that there’s at least three feet (one metre) between a candle and any surface above it.
Keep away from children and pets.
Keep away from clothes and hair.
Burn the candle on a flat, stable and heat resistant surface.
Keep the wick trimmed.
Extinguish candles before moving them. Do not allow any items to fall into the hot wax.
Use a snuffer to put out a Candle. Blowing out a candle can send sparks and hot wax flying.
Double check that the candle has been put out.
